What personal data do we collect?
Depending on your contact with Renova Klus, we may process the following data:

We do not publish photos of your home or project in which personal data is identifiable without an appropriate legal basis. Where necessary, we ask for your prior consent.
We do not provide the content of your contact form or submitted photos to Google Analytics or Google Ads for advertising or visitor measurement.
Hosting and storage outside the European Union
Our website and enquiries stored through the contact form are hosted by Namecheap, an external hosting provider.
The hosting environment we use is located in a data centre in the United States.
This means that personal data, including names, contact details, enquiry information and submitted photos, may be stored and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Additional requirements under the GDPR apply to international transfers of personal data.
Namecheap has published a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) containing provisions on data processing and international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission where applicable.
Renova Klus assesses which transfer mechanisms and supplementary safeguards are necessary for the services used.

How long do we retain your data?
We retain personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a legal obligation or legitimate reason requires a longer retention period.
We apply the following principles:
Quote requests that do not lead to a commission
As a general rule, we retain enquiries that do not lead to an agreement for up to 12 months after the last relevant contact, unless a longer retention period is necessary.
Submitted photos
As a general rule, photos accompanying enquiries that do not lead to a commission are deleted within 12 months, unless they are still necessary for an ongoing enquiry or another valid reason exists.
Customer and project data
We retain data about completed work for as long as necessary for the performance of the agreement, warranty, complaints handling and any legal claims.
Financial records
We generally retain invoices and data subject to the general tax record retention obligation for seven years. A different statutory retention period may apply to certain data.
Cookie preferences
The necessary cookie used to remember your preferences is retained for up to 180 days.
Different retention periods may apply to data processed by external analytics or advertising services. These depend on the services and settings actually used.
After the applicable retention period, we delete or anonymise personal data unless further retention is required by law or otherwise justified.
With which parties do we share data?
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Where necessary for our services, we may share data with:

Renova Klus may also receive enquiries through external platforms, such as Homedeal, Werkspot, social media or other service platforms.
When you contact us through such a platform, we may receive the contact details, project information and any photos you provide.
We process this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and provide any further services, or for another lawful purpose communicated to you.
These platforms also have their own privacy policies and may be independently responsible for their data processing.

Security of personal data
Renova Klus takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, misuse and unauthorised disclosure.
In doing so, we take into account the nature of the data, the available technology and the risks of processing.
We restrict access to personal data to people who need this information for their work.
No method of storage or transmission over the internet offers absolute security. We therefore continue to focus on the security of our systems and the data we process.
